To Abby Sale

Who are you? What are you talking about "Phlebotomy Blues was a big hit back then." When? Do I know you?

I'll explain.

You don't know me and I apologize I found no other way to contact except through your blog. I can't find any email address for you.

I'm seeking the words to "PB" (actually for a friend who greatly admired the song as he heard it on radio "back then" on Nebraska radio in, I believe, the '60s).

You posted June 22 "H) I restrung my guitar yesterday and today found some of my original songs I'd written long ago and thought I'd lost. It felt good to play my songs again. Phlebotomy Blues..."

This led me to believe you wrote it.

Yes, I'd much appreciate the words so I can pass them on. I believe he recalls the tune.

If you like, write me at AbbySale@gmail.com.

And I thank you.

(Not really needing any phlebotomy myself, this week - lobotomy, maybe.)

Ohh. Well that clears up some mystery. However, I don't think the song I wrote is the song your friend is looking for. I actually am quite sure it isn't. I wrote a song in 2001 and entitled it "phlebotomy blues" but since I never published it or recorded it or otherwise checked to see if the name was unique, it's more than likely your search will need to continue. I wish you luck!

Time Travel! You wrote the song, it becomes tremendously famous in the future, sometime in the far far future a time traveller goes back in time to Nebraska in the 60s, plays the song, and inadvertently changes the timespace continuum.

Mystery solved.
